Liz Scannell, qualified as a chartered accountant with Deloitte in 2000 and spent 10 years at the firm before moving to become Finance Director at Serviced Office Group plc, a rapidly growing, AIM listed, property company. Liz has experience as a Non-Executive Director and currently provides consultancy services to a variety of clients.

 

Liz has a wide range of financial and transactional experience, with particular experience in the real estate industry.  Her work includes:

 

• Non-Executive Director role with focus on financial and risk sides of the business

• Finance Director responsible for all financial aspects of the business

• Commercial and financial due diligence in Real Estate and Hospitality industries

• Private and public fund raising providing total of £22m new funds, including preparation and presentation of marketing presentation to attract potential investors

• Negotiation of banking facilities and associated coventants

• Budget preparation and reporting

• Cash flow forecasting and management, including in restricted circumstances

• Managing finance teams

• Fund reporting

• Running corporate acquisition process

• Running corporate and property sales processes

• Preparation of circular for shareholders

• Design and implementation of effective internal controls

• Company Secretary for an AIM listed company
